I feel like this part of a natural progression of this Justin's natural sound culminating in a short, but excellent aural treat. You couldn't ask for a more cohesive album on the treatise on finding glimmers of light in the darkness. I hope another album comes soon. Maybe a mid year ep to tide us over? computerhardware89

Holy crap, what an incredible comeback for a band which I thought would never make music I liked again. I couldn't get into the hardcore sound of their last few albums at all, but I still listen to LEIY - LINaWR pretty often. It's nice to hear that kind of sound again, but with lyrics that have grown up with Buddy.
It sucks that he has had to go through so much, but it means a lot to me as a fan to get to hear him bear his soul on the record, and to know that he has survived it all. Forest Hill

This album is so painfully beautiful. Julien's voice is delicately strained and her words paint vignettes that range from delicate somber memories to muted pain. The guitar tones and thin texture of the layering leave this album feeling very intimate and raw. Among the best things I've heard this past year. Jake Gussman

I went for their show in Slim's in San Francisco with the menzingers and Daddy Issues. I was wondering why in the hell I did not know them sooner. I like their melodic guitar solos, gnarly drumming and awesome lyrics. Thanks for making my stay in SF amazing. They played songs from this album mostly applause was the most memorable. shuyb
